AETHER ANNOUNCES AMENDMENT OF IRAP CONTRIBUTION AGREEMENT

Burnaby, British Columbia / January 23, 2020 Aether Catalyst Solutions, Inc. ("ATHR" or the "Company")
(CSE: ATHR), is pleased to announce that it's IRAP Contribution Agreement, granted in 2018, has been
extended and amended by the National Research Council (the "NRC").

The original funding of $195,000, ending December 31, 2019, has been extended to March 31, 2020 and
amended to $232,500.

The extension and amendment were specifically granted by the NRC to fund the Company in completing
a Rapid Aging Test (R.A.T. test) with a third-party service provider (SGS North America Inc.).

The Rapid Aging Test is a standardized test of catalytic converter efficiency mandated by the California Air
Resource Board (CARB). Given that the test is an industry accepted metric, and that Aether will be
conducting the test via a third-party service provider, we are looking forward to having a credible data
package highlighting the performance of our catalyst to communicate to the OEMs and their suppliers.
We have already tested earlier versions of our catalysts with two of the top ten global auto manufacturers;
having third-party Rapid Aging Test results will allow us to expand our testing relationships.

The significance of this test is that we will have test results that, unlike those conducted by our engaged
OEMS, we can share with prospective new partners.

We expect to ship samples to SGS North America Inc. some time in the last week of February, with results
expected back sometime in March.

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Aether Catalyst Solutions, Inc. is focused on providing an order of magnitude cost reduction in automotive
catalytic converter catalyst, while meeting, or exceeding government emission standards. Aether is
working to quickly advance its technology through rapid screening of new materials directed at enhancing
end of life conversion levels after accelerated aging. While Aether's primary focus is automotive, other
potential applications for this low-cost technology are also being explored. Aether is looking to supplant
precious metals in automotive catalysts for gasoline powered engines, a greater than $20 billion cost
annually at today's prices.
