Live Ticker

The Live Ticker is a JAVA applet providing streaming real-time quotes & trades, streaming market depth and streaming news headlines, along with live portfolio and transaction views. Market depth details may include depth-by-price, depth-by-order, or Level-II, as applicable. Alarms may be set for price, volume, trades, bid/ask, new high/low, and other factors. Stockwatch features such as the Stock Scanner and dynamic Intraday and Historical Charts are also available. The Live Ticker can be launched with any existing Stockwatch portfolio, or with individually selected symbols.

The Live Ticker launches the many different information displays in separate windows. Users with complex data display requirements should check out the Daytrader Workstation which provides all of the features of the Live Ticker within a managed multi-window display.)

Desktop and Ticker

The Desktop/Ticker are two standalone programs that provide streaming real-time quotes & trades, streaming market depth and streaming news headlines, along with live portfolio and transaction views. These programs are not written in Java and contain a super-set of the features found in our streaming Java applets. They run on computers with the Windows operating sytem.

Market depth details may include depth-by-price, depth-by-order, or Level-II, as applicable. Alarms may be set for price, volume, trades, bid/ask, new high/low, and other factors. Stock scanning, Daily, Historic and Portfolio charts are included. Custom window groupings can be saved as named layouts so that they can be restored for the next session. Individual windows can be customized.

Live Html5 Streaming Webpages

Html5 streaming features have been included in our website. Clicking on "Live" or "Live Html5" will insert a streaming ticker or chart into the page. You can view your portfolio or a group of stocks as a live ticker. The features of our other apps are supported without having to leave your browser. Level2, Market Depth, Daily and Historic charts are displayed. The charts support an array of features and technical indicators.

Daytrader Workstation

The Daytrader Workstation is a JAVA applet that enhances the functionality of the Live Ticker through the use of a managed multi-window display within an overall virtual desktop. Like the Live Ticker, the Daytrader Workstation provides streaming real-time quotes & trades, streaming market depth and streaming news headlines, along with live portfolio and transaction views. Market depth details may include depth-by-price, depth-by-order, or Level-II, Histogram, as applicable. Alarms may be set for price, volume, trades, bid/ask, new high/low, and other factors. Stockwatch features such as the Stock Scanner and dynamic Intraday and Historical Charts may also be launched from within the Daytrader Workstation.

The multi-window format makes the Daytrader Workstation much more powerful, more convenient and easier to use than the Live Ticker for active traders with complex information display requirements. Among many advanced features, the Daytrader Workstation will save the current window configuration and user preferences, allowing the same display to be instantly restored the next time the Daytrader Workstation is invoked. For daily users this vastly simplifies and accelerates the process of getting organized at the beginning of each trading day.

Stock Scanner

Available from the Daytrader Workstation and the Live Ticker, the Stock Scanner actively displays top gainers or losers for a given exchange, subject to minimum/maximum criteria such as volume, prices and trades. From 10 to 100 matches can be displayed, and the display can be refreshed at intervals from 3 to 30 minutes. Any displayed stocks may be added to the Daytrader Workstation or Live Ticker display.
