CWB CONFIRMS ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

All nominees listed in Canadian Western Bank's management proxy circular mailed to shareholders prior to the annual meeting were elected as directors of the bank. Detailed results of the vote for the election of directors held yesterday at the bank's annual meeting of common shareholders are set out in the included table.
