The Globe and Mail reports in its Saturday, Feb. 29, edition that Bryan Garnier analyst Nikolaas Faes cut Aurora Cannabis ($1.81) to "sell" from "neutral." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Faes slashed his share target to $1.10, down from $7. Analysts on average target the shares at $2.42. The Globe reported on Sept. 16, 2019, that Desjardins Securities analyst John Chu reiterated his "buy" on Aurora when it was worth $7.26. The Globe reported on Nov. 18, 2019, that Canaccord Genuity analyst Matt Bottomley kept his "speculative buy" rating on Aurora. It could be then be had for $3.59. The Globe reported on Feb. 8, 2020, that Mr. Chu moved his rating to "hold" from "buy," calling Aurora a "show-me story." He chopped his share target to $3.25 from $6.50. In the same item, Mr. Bottomley moved Aurora to "hold" from "speculative buy" with a $3 share target, falling from $6. The shares could then be had for $2.08. The Globe reported on Feb. 25, 2020, that Cowen analyst Vivien Azer was growing "increasingly cautious on the outlook for cannabis in Canada." Accordingly, she cut her rating to "market perform" from "outperform." The shares could then be had for $2.08.
