XORTX CONFIRMS EFFECTIVE DATE OF SHARE CONSOLIDATION

Further to the news release of March 26, 2026, the implementation of XORTX Therapeutics Inc.'s share consolidation on the basis of one new common share for every five old common shares has received all required approvals of the TSX Venture Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Exchange and will occur on April 6, 2026.
