TMX GROUP EQUITY FINANCING STATISTICS - JANUARY 2026

TMX Group Ltd. has released its financing activity on the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange for January, 2026.

The TSX welcomed 23 new issuers in January, 2026, compared with 84 in the previous month and 24 in January, 2025. The new listings were 23 exchange-traded funds. Total financings raised in January, 2026, decreased 75 per cent compared with the previous month and were down 9 per cent compared with January, 2025. The total number of financings in January, 2026, was 40, compared with 37 the previous month and 43 in January, 2025.

There was one new issuer on the TSX-V in January, 2026, compared with two in the previous month and none in January, 2025. The new listing was a mining company. Total financings raised in January, 2026, decreased 45 per cent compared with the previous month, but were up 63 per cent compared with January, 2025. There were 158 financings in January, 2026, compared with 123 in the previous month and 107 in January, 2025.
