The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Jan. 31, edition that Eight Capital analyst Adhir Kadve believes Wonderfi Technologies is the "best way to gain crypto exposure in Canada." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Kadve rates Wonderfi "buy" in new coverage. He set a 50-cent share target, matching the consensus. Mr. Kadve says in a note: "With more than 1.6 million registered users, the significant scale which WonderFi has assembled both through M&A and organic means gives the company a dominant position in the Canadian crypto landscape and positions the company well to continue to grow wallet share against both large and smaller competitors. While crypto platforms have come under regulatory scrutiny due to the publicized failure and subsequent loss of user assets from exchanges such as FTX and Celsius, WonderFi's prioritization of regulatory compliance should provide some level of comfort to users that their assets are safe on the platform and a competitive advantage over other platforms. Wonderfi's vast 1.6 million registered users, several of whom do not currently transact on the platform, represent low-hanging fruit for monetization."
