               WONDERFILM ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT

August 16, 2018: Vancouver, British Columbia: The Wonderfilm Media Corporation
("Wonderfilm" or "Company") (TSXV: WNDR) is pleased to announce a non-brokered private
placement of up to 1,134,400 common shares for gross proceeds of $567,200 at $0.50 per
common share ("Private Placement"). The Company intends to use the net proceeds for general
working capital expenses.

The Private Placement is subject to TSXV Venture Exchange approval. All securities issued
under the Private Placement will be subject to a hold period expiring four months and one day
from the date of issuance.
