Vancouver, British Columbia - June 25, 2026 – TheNewswire – FintechWerx International Software Services Inc. (CSE: WERX) (“FintechWerx” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that its PaymentWerx platform is now live and processing transactions within the AetherEV Energy Corporation (“AetherEV”) electric vehicle charging ecosystem.

The milestone follows the commercial licensing agreement announced on January 26, 2026, under which AetherEV licensed FintechWerx’s gateway software and transaction processing services for use within its platform. With integration and deployment activities now completed, the relationship has moved from implementation into production.

AetherEV is an energy technology company developing electric vehicle charging and energy solutions designed to support the transition toward distributed, electrified infrastructure. With FintechWerx’s payment infrastructure now integrated, AetherEV’s platform is able to support secure, real-time payment acceptance while maintaining flexibility as its operations expand into new markets and jurisdictions.

The successful implementation marks an important commercial milestone for FintechWerx, establishing the Company as an operational embedded payments provider within the electric vehicle technology sector.

The Company believes similar opportunities exist across energy, mobility, fleet, gaming, and other sectors that require secure, configurable payment capabilities integrated directly into their operating environments. According to Global Market Insights, the global embedded payments market was valued at USD 24.7 billion in 2024 and is growing at a 30.3% CAGR through 2034. 1 Further, this embedded payments segment accounted for over 45% of embedded finance market share in 2024 and is expected to exceed USD 400 billion by 2034. 2

Addressing the significance of the deployment, George Hofsink, Co-Founder and CEO of FintechWerx, emphasized the transition from agreement to commercial operation.

"This milestone moves the relationship from implementation into processing live transactions,” says Hofsink. “Many platform operators face similar payments challenges3 , and the successful implementation with AetherEV provides a strong example of how PaymentWerx can be embedded within specialized operating environments to support secure, scalable transaction processing."

Jerry Lai, CEO of AetherEV Energy Corporation, said the deployment strengthens AetherEV’s ability to scale its charging platform without building payment infrastructure internally.

"We are now live with FintechWerx and processing real-time transactions across our platform," says Lai. "For AetherEV, payments need to work seamlessly within the user experience while supporting the flexibility required to grow into new markets and locations. FintechWerx provides the infrastructure to do that while allowing us to remain focused on expanding our energy and charging network."

As AetherEV brings additional charging locations online, the deployment is expected to support a broader base of recurring transaction activity under the agreement.
