WASTE CONNECTIONS ANNOUNCES SENIOR NOTES OFFERING

Subject to market and other conditions, Waste Connections Inc. plans to proceed to offer senior notes in an underwritten public offering. The notes will be senior unsecured obligations of the company. Waste Connections intends to use the net proceeds from the offering, together with cash on hand, to repay a portion of the borrowings outstanding under its revolving credit facility.
