The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Feb. 18, edition that RBC Capital Markets analyst Sabahat Khan continues to rank Waste Connections "outperform." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Khan gave his share target a $9 trim to $210 (all figures U.S.). Analysts on average target the shares at $200.95. Mr. Khan says in a note: "Waste Connections reported Q4 results ahead of Street forecasts while '26 guidance was below consensus at the midpoint. The focus item was the '26 FCF conversion outlook, which is at 50 per cent of adjusted EBITDA when adjusting for $100-million of capex related to RNG/recycling and $100-million to $150-million of Chiquita-related spend (43-per-cent conversion including these items). In terms of the underlying business, trends remain similar to what we have seen in recent quarters, with strength across the base business being partially offset by commodity-related headwinds." The Globe reported on Feb. 14, 2025, and July 4, 2025, that Mr. Khan continued to rate Waste Connections "outperform." The shares could then be had for $180 and $180.73.
