Mr. O'Brien is a former Senior Geologist at the Geological Survey of Newfoundland and Labrador (NL), with over 40 year
--->s of geoscience experience. From 2006-2016 he was responsible for the government's targeted and strategic attraction i
--->nitiatives to capture exploration and mining sector investment from worldwide sources. This work raised the profile of
---> NL and the NL mining and exploration sector in emerging and domestic markets, fostered important strategic relationsh
--->ips with public and private sector mining interests and governments in the Asia-Pacific region, notably China, and hel
--->ped facilitate multi-million dollar investment from these regions. Prior to 2006, much of his career focused on system
--->atic geological mapping, mineral deposit studies and related geoscience research in the Appalachian geology of eastern
---> North America, providing industry with technical information and mentoring, primarily related to gold and copper expl
--->oration. He holds a MSc. (Geology) from Memorial University and is Principal of Far-Eastern Geo-Consult. He has been t

Mr. Kelly, P.Geo. has over 39 years of experience in the mining industry. He started as an exploration geologist in We

--->ining operation in Western Labrador including the position of Mine Manager. He was Construction Manager for Inco's Voi
--->sey's Bay Nickel (VBNC) Demonstration Plant and its Commercial Nickel Processing Plant in Newfoundland. He was also pr
--->incipal liaison with government on all aspects of the Industrial and Employment Benefits Agreement (IEBA) with prime r
--->esponsibility to administer the Agreement on behalf of VBNC in collaboration with the Government's representative. He 
--->recently retired from Teck Resources Limited in the role of Vice President, Health and Safety at Teck's Vancouver Head
--->quarters, a position he held since January 2013. He joined Teck in 2007 and served as the General Manager of Duck Pond
---> (Copper-Zinc) Mining Operations in Central Newfoundland. He is a graduate from Memorial University of Newfoundland as
