Vermilion Energy restores 60% of shut-in production

2023-05-15 09:27 ET - News Release

An anonymous director reports

VERMILION ENERGY INC. PROVIDES UPDATE ON THE PRODUCTION IMPACT FROM ALBERTA WILDFIRES

Vermilion Energy Inc. has restored approximately 60 per cent of the 30,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of production that was temporarily shut in as a result of the wildfires in west-central Alberta. The company has inspected all of its key assets and confirms that there was no major damage to Vermilion's facilities or well sites, and Vermilion will bring the remaining curtailed production back on line as soon as it is safe to do so.

As a result of this production being temporarily offline, Vermilion now expects Q2 2023 production to average 80,000 to 83,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Vermilion's 2023 annual production guidance of 82,000 to 86,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day remains unchanged.

Vermilion would like to again thank its staff and emergency responders for their tireless work in response to the wildfires. The company's thoughts continue to be with its employees, their families and its neighbours in the local communities during this difficult time.
