VOLT CARBON TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES EXTENSION OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT AND OPTION GRANT

Volt Carbon Technologies Inc., with reference to its prior news releases dated April 9, 2024, and April 19, 2024, has obtained approval from the TSX Venture Exchange to extend the deadline for the final closing of its private placement of up to 10 million units at a price of seven cents per unit for gross proceeds of up to $700,000 until May 31, 2024. The closing of the offering remains subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals, including the approval of the TSX-V.

Grant of options

In accordance with the company's stock option plan, Volt Carbon has granted an aggregate of 500,000 options to existing employees and consultants of the company at an exercise price of eight cents. Additionally, an aggregate of three million options have been granted to directors of the company at an exercise price 12 cents. All options granted expire on May 9, 2029.
