The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday edition that ATB Cormark analyst Richard Gray hiked Torex Gold Resources to "outperform" from "sector perform" after the company's third quarter exploration results highlighted the long-life potential of its Morelos property in Mexico, showcasing broad, high-grade intersections across major mining fronts. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Gray's share target soared $18 to $89. Analysts on average target the shares at $91.20. Mr. Gray says in a note: "The exploration results continue to demonstrate the exceptional potential of the Morelos property for resource expansion and mine life extensions, while the Morelos operation should have a much stronger H2/26 and generate significant FCF. These results position Torex well for another year of successful resource and reserve replacement ahead of the upcoming 2027 MRE." The Globe reported on Feb. 9 that J. Zechner Assoc. said Torex was an undervalued gold stocks in a relatively safe geopolitical region. It was then worth $62.89. The Globe reported on Sept. 22 that National analyst Don DeMarco had reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Torex Gold. The shares could then be had for $66.35.
