The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Aug. 1, edition that Raymond James's Luke Davis continues to rate Tamarack Valley Energy "outperform." The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. Davis gave his share target a 50-cent boost to $6.50. Analysts on average target the shares at $6.52. Mr. Davis says in a note: "Tamarack's 2Q25 results continue to underscore the company's successful water-flood program with production volumes trending ahead of expectations and annual guidance adjusted to reflect an attenuating decline rate. The company completed a tuck-in in the Clearwater subsequent to quarter-end, adding depth to the broader portfolio, while consolidating JV lands, further improving efficiencies. Overall, we think the story continues to improve and given strong operational momentum, an improved leverage profile, and robust return of capital strategy, we expect Tamarack will continue to filter toward the top of the list for energy investors." The Globe reported on June 27 that Mr. Davis had reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Tamarack Valley. The shares could then be had for $4.89. The Globe reported on July 2 that RBC had reaffirmed its "outperform" recommendation for Tamarack. It was then worth $4.89.
