The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that TC Energy Corp.'s cumulative redeemable first preferred shares, Series 6 (symbol TRP.PR.I), will be halted at the open and delisted at the close on Jan. 30, 2026. According to the TSX, all issued and outstanding Series 6 preferred shares will be converted into cumulative redeemable first preferred shares,
Series 5 (TRP.PR.C), on Jan. 30, 2026, following the conversion
notice period, which ended at 5 p.m. Toronto time on
Jan. 16, 2026.
In accordance with the terms of the Series 6 preferred shares,
since there would be fewer than one million Series 6 preferred shares outstanding after taking into account the Series 6
preferred shares tendered for conversion into Series 5
preferred shares and the Series 5 preferred shares tendered
for conversion into Series 6 preferred shares, all Series 6
preferred shares will be automatically converted into Series 5
preferred shares on Jan. 30, 2026, and the symbol
TRP.PR.I will be delisted.
As the Series 5 preferred shares and Series 6 Preferred
Shares are held through the book-entry system of CDS, and
no individual certificates are issued, holders of Series 6
preferred shares need not take any action with respect to the
conversion. For more information, see the company's news releases dated Dec. 31, 2025, and Jan. 23, 2026.
