The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, March 6, edition that Canaccord Genuity analyst Mike Mueller continues to call Topaz Energy a "buy." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Mueller elevated his share target by a loonie to $28.50. Analysts on average target the shares ast $26.58. Mr. Mueller says in a note, "Topaz Energy is one of the most attractive ways for investors to play WCSB development and benefit from the implicit growth outlined by its key payors while collecting a healthy 6.3-per-cent dividend." The Globe reported on Aug. 3, Nov. 2, Dec. 7 and Jan. 24 that Desjardins Securities analyst Chris MacCulloch had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Topaz Energy. The shares could then be had for $21.16, $21.88, $18.85 and $19.27. The Globe reported on Jan. 3 that ATB Capital Markets said Topaz Energy was in a sector facing "near-term challenges." The shares could then be had for $19.19. The Globe reported on Jan. 11 that National Bank Financial analysts had rated Topaz Energy "outperform." The shares could then be had for $19.57. The shares closed Tuesday at $21.54.
