The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Jan. 24, edition that Canaccord Genuity analyst Luke Hannan has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Spin Master. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Hannan trimmed his share target by a loonie to $51. Analysts on average target the shares at $48.25. Mr. Hannan says in a note: "We attended Spin Master's 2024 Toy & Entertainment Investor Day [Sunday] wherein the company outlined its core priorities for the year ahead and showcased upcoming new toy and entertainment launches. We came away from the day positively, with a reinforced belief that the company remains well positioned to capture market share with its robust portfolio of properties, even amidst a softer backdrop." The Globe reported on Oct. 13 and Oct. 27 that Stifel analyst Martin Landry had reaffirmed his "buy" call on Spin Master. It was then worth $37.19 and $34.66. The Globe reported on Nov. 3 that Mr. Hannan had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Spin Master. In the item Mr. Hannan said, "We believe the shares are compelling at current levels." The shares could then be had for $34.33.
