The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Nov. 10, edition that RBC Capital Markets analyst Greg Pardy has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Suncor Energy. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Pardy gave his share target a $2 boost to $53. Analysts on average target the shares at $54.63. Mr. Pardy says in a note, "As a multi-quarter turnaround story, Suncor's solid third quarter results provided just a sample of how much cash flow/free cash flow the company can generate as its operating performance steadily improves." The Globe reported on Dec. 1, 2022, Dec. 15, 2022, and March 2, 2023, that Mr. Pardy continued to rate Suncor Energy "outperform." Suncor shares could then be had for $48.29, $41.73 and $46.74. The Globe reported on April 29, 2023, that National Bank Financial Travis Wood had upgraded Suncor Energy to "outperform." The shares could then be had for $42.42.
