BILLINGSLEY Surrey, BC September 11, 2023 NEWS RELEASE ACQUISITION OF FURTHER SHARES OF SUN SUMMIT MINERALS CORP. I have acquired ownership of 1,000,000 common shares (representing 0.96% of the outstanding shares) of Sun Summit (TSX-V: SMN) of Vancouver, BC. The acquisition was made by purchases made through the TSX Venture Exchange on September 6, 7 and 8, 2023 at an average price of $ 0.055 per share (totalling $55,000). The shares were acquired for investment purposes. Immediately prior to the acquisition, my wife and I owned and had control and direction over 12,106,742 common shares (representing 11.57% of Sun Summit's outstanding common shares). My wife and I now own and have control and direction over 13,106,742 common shares (representing 12.53% of Sun Summit's outstanding common shares) and warrants to purchase an additional 1,558,333 common shares. If the warrants were exercised, we would own and have control and direction over 14,665,075 common shares (representing 13.81% of the outstanding shares) of Sun Summit. Presently, my wife and I do not have any intention of acquiring any further securities of Sun Summit other than pursuant to an option payment from Sun Summit of 1,000,000 shares (500,000 shares each) due in late September 2023 but we may acquire ownership of further securities in the future depending upon market and other circumstances. I have filed an Early Warning Report with the British Columbia and Alberta Securities Commissions in respect of the acquisition.
