BILLINGSLEY ACQUIRES FURTHER SHARES OF SUN SUMMIT

Richard J. Billingsley has acquired ownership of one million common shares (representing 0.96 per cent of the outstanding shares) of Sun Summit Minerals Corp. The acquisition was made by purchases made through the TSX Venture Exchange on Sept. 6, Sept. 7 and Sept. 8, 2023, at an average price of 5.5 cents per share (totalling $55,000). The shares were acquired for investment purposes.

Immediately prior to the acquisition, he and his wife owned and had control and direction over 12,106,742 common shares (representing 11.57 per cent of Sun Summit's outstanding common shares).

He and his wife now own and have control and direction over 13,106,742 common shares (representing 12.53 per cent of Sun Summit's outstanding common shares) and warrants to purchase an additional 1,558,333 common shares. If the warrants were exercised, they would own and have control and direction over 14,665,075 common shares (representing 13.81 per cent of the outstanding shares) of Sun Summit.

Currently, he and his wife do not have any intention of acquiring any further securities of Sun Summit other than pursuant to an option payment from Sun Summit of one million shares (500,000 shares each) due in late September, 2023, but they may acquire ownership of further securities in the future depending upon market and other circumstances.

He has filed an early warning report with the B.C. and Alberta securities commissions in respect of the acquisition. Copies of the report may be obtained from SEDAR+ or without charge from him.
