The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday edition that Desjardins analyst Frederic Tremblay has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Savaria. The Globe's David Leeder writes that the Desjardins stockpicker gave his share target a $2 boost to $22.50. Analysts on average target the shares at $20.64. The Globe says Mr. Tremblay is happy with Savaria's fourth quarter results. He likes how the company ended 2023. He says the results are "a nice appetizer" for next month's investor day. Mr. Tremblay says in a note: "Savaria's organic top-line trajectory remained strong thanks to demand, pricing and cross-selling. Adjusted EBITDA of $35.1-million was consistent with expectations. Accessibility had a robust quarter, featuring 9.5-per-cent organic growth and margin expansion. Looking ahead, we believe the North American segment will continue to lead the way while Europe should continue to recover gradually. ... While our target multiple is currently aligned with the historical average, we see potential for the stock to warrant an above-average multiple in the future based on developments related to the Savaria One project." The Globe reported on Sept. 26 that Mr. Tremblay rated Savaria "buy." It was then worth $14.18.
