The Post's Chris Knight quotes Mr. Krassenstein saying of Montreal, "No corruption here." He announced his move on X on Monday alongside a photo that eagle-eyed X users pointed out was taken in Mont-Tremblant. Responses to the Monday post have been varied, from Canadians and Quebeckers welcoming the Florida resident to the country, to those pointing out that Montreal is hardly a corruption-free zone. Harley Finkelstein, a Montreal native and president of Shopify, replied: "My favourite city. Welcome." One X user named Roddy seemed to sum up many responses when he wrote, "While not entirely accurate, welcome all the same." Mr. Krassenstein and his twin brother Ed gained prominence on Twitter (now X) with their frequent rebukes of U.S. President Donald Trump during his first term as president. When Mr. Trump blocked them, they sued, arguing that the president's Twitter account functioned as a public forum and that blocking them violated their First Amendment rights, after which they and other critics were unblocked.
