SPRUCE RIDGE APPOINTS ERROL FARR AS CORPORATE SECRETARY

Spruce Ridge Resources Ltd. has appointed Errol Farr, CPA, CMA, as corporate secretary. Mr. Farr is a seasoned financial professional with over 35 years of experience in financial management and reporting, operations, business optimization, and strategy development. He is the former chief financial officer of Anaconda Mining Inc., a gold producer in Newfoundland, Canada. He is currently CFO, chief operating officer and corporate secretary of Zonetail Inc., a marketing and technology company focused on the high-rise residential and hotel markets, CFO of Big Tree Carbon Inc., with carbon credit opportunities near Red Lake, Ont., and CFO and corporate secretary of AFR NuVenture Resources Inc., a mining exploration company with projects in the United States.

Commenting on the appointment, president and chief executive officer Steve Balch stated, "We are pleased to have Errol aboard to complement our management team."
