The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Nov. 11, edition that Scotia Capital analyst John Zamparo is keeping his "sector outperform" recommendation for Saputo intact. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Zamparo gave his share target a $2 boost to $39. Analysts on average target the shares at $38.78. Mr. Zamparo says in a note: "Saputo's key internal initiatives are playing out as expected, while market conditions are improving as hoped, save for perhaps the U.S., which could inflect positive in H2/F26. Based on improvements in international, consensus estimates look highly achievable through F27 and perhaps conservative. We see a path for mid-teens EPS growth in F27 and F28 alongside an unlevered balance sheet and more predictable quarters, similar to 1H/26." The Globe reported on June 10 that National Bank Financial analyst Vishal Shreedhar had reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Saputo. The shares could then be had for $26.56. The Globe reported on Aug. 12 that Mr. Shreedhar had reiterated his "outperform" recommendation for Saputo. The shares were then worth $32.59.
