TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 6, 2011) -

Sherritt International Corporation ("Sherritt") (TSX:S) is scheduled to release its second quarter 2011 earnings results on Wednesday July 27, 2011, before markets open. The release will be followed by an analyst and investor conference call at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).

Scheduled speakers on the conference call will include Ian W. Delaney, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and David Pathe, Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
