certainly adds confidence to the minds of ordinary investors when a judge has to come to the rescue of investors to stop some dweeb who cannot stick to a written agreement- just imagine the other agreements these 2 dweebs are breaking ... whens the sanctions going to be handed down for this conduct? Add to this question when is the vectorvest ad going to be pulled by the securities commission? the securities acts within Canada all clearly state 18+ to invest, and just now on BNN the same ad plays with the little kid claiming trading success and Oh wait for it- giving unsolicited advice to his mommy on what stocks to buy...another company without scrupples and not following the laws of the land.

Clients deal with the Investment Advisor not the Firm. The Judge got this one wrong. She drank the the firm's coolaid. The Firm does not own the client's decissions. The Client seeks advise and direction from the Advisor not the Firm. This decision by Edward Jones is arrogance at it's best. Like most firms their actions are with complete disregard for the client. If the client was dissatisfied with the Advisor they would have departed. There is honour and trust between the Advisor and the client. The honour and respect is void between the advisor and Firm management.

Once again a judge shows zero understanding of the business. The firm has no relationship with the client. The relationship is between the broker and the client.
