ROVER ANNOUNCES ADMINISTRATIVE UPDATES AND CHANGES TO BOARD AND MANAGEMENT
Rover Critical Minerals Corp. has appointed Nasim Tyab as its new chief executive officer and a director. Ron Woo has resigned as CEO of the company, and Keith Minty has resigned as a director of the company.
The board of directors of the company wishes to thank Mr. Woo for his services as CEO. Mr. Woo has been instrumental in the preparation and submittal of the company's new land-use permit application for its Cabin gold project. The Cabin permit application was submitted on June 2, 2025.
The board would also like to thank Mr. Minty for his years of service to the company. Mr. Minty has been a director since 2018. The board is very grateful for his commitment over the past several years.
Mr. Tyab is a businessman with a background in management, corporate development and public-company finance. He has over 25 years of experience with public companies and has served as a director and senior officer of a number of public companies, principally in the minerals and energy sectors. He was the president of Senco Sensors Inc. from 1995 to 2001. Mr. Tyab was also a director of Mohave Exploration and Production Inc. from November, 2006, to August, 2010, an oil and gas company which had amalgamated with Porto Energy Corp. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Simon Fraser University.
Mr. Tyab stated: "I am excited to join Rover as CEO at a transformative time for the company. The recent acquisition of the Pirenopolis gold project in Brazil marks a strategic step forward as we look to expand our presence in one of the most prospective gold jurisdictions in the Americas."
Judson Culter, director at Rover, stated: "On behalf of the board of directors at Rover, I would like to thank Mr. Woo for stepping in as interim CEO and helping us with this transition period. I would also like to thank Mr. Keith Minty for his years of service. I am excited about the new direction Rover is taking under Nasim's leadership."
