RB GLOBAL ANNOUNCES EARLY TERMINATION OF HART-SCOTT-RODINO WAITING PERIOD

On May 22, 2025, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 with respect to the pending acquisition of JM Wood Auction Co. Inc. by Ritchie Bros Auctioneers (America) Inc., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of RB Global Inc.

The termination of the waiting period under the HSR act satisfies one of the conditions to the closing of the pending acquisition, which is expected to be completed in the second or early third quarter of 2025 but which remains subject to other customary closing conditions.
