The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Dec. 1, edition that Raymond James analyst Stephen Boland downgraded his rating on Quisitive Technology Solutions to "market perform" from "outperform" citing balance sheet pressure, as well as the need for a clearer outlook for its consulting business while it conducts a strategic review. The Globe's Darcy Keith writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Boland slashed his share target by 60 cents to 40 cents. Analysts on average target the shares at 77 cents. Mr. Boland says in a note: "Growth across each division has slowed considerably in recent quarters. We now believe it could be late next year before we see a meaningful pickup in revenue. We believe the stock will remain in the current range until there is a clearer outlook for the consulting segment, the end of the strategic review and the balance sheet pressure." The Globe reported on Oct. 4 that Scotia Capital had cut Quisitive Technology to "sector perform" from "sector outperform." It was then worth 32 cents. The Globe reported on Oct. 27 that Desjardins Securities analyst Jerome Dubreuil had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Quisitive Technology. The shares could then be had for 29 cents.
