The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Oct. 27, edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Jerome Dubreuil has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Quisitive Technology Solutions. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Dubreuil gave his share target a 20-cent trim to 60 cents. Analysts on average target the shares at 88 cents. Mr. Dubreuil cut his forecasts for IT service providers to reflect higher interest rates and the downside risk for near-term estimates, acknowledging soaring interest in artificial intelligence is "showing promising signs of growth" but warning investors it is "not material yet." Mr. Dubreuil says in a note: "The company is not immune to headwinds in cloud, and its liquidity situation appears tighter than we had previously thought despite its reasonable leverage. We are closely monitoring its strategic review, which could be a catalyst for value creation down the road." The Globe reported on April 6 that Mr. Dubreuil continued to rate Quisitive Technology "buy." The shares could then be had for 55 cents. The Globe reported on Oct. 4 that Scotia Capital had cut Quisitive Technology to "sector perform" from "sector outperform." It was then worth 32 cents.
