The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Aug. 1, edition that Scotia Capital analyst Kevin Fink has reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for Parex Resources. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Fink hiked his share target to $17 from $16. Analysts on average target the shares at $17.26. Mr. Fink says in a note, "Parex's second quarter results reflect improved operating performance, while its conscious focus on lower-risk development is designed to serve as a bridge to a higher risk-higher reward program in the Foothills trend in 2026 plus." The Globe reported on Sept. 18 that RBC Capital Markets analyst Greg Pardy reaffirmed his "sector perform" call for Parex Resources. The shares were then going for $12.10. The Globe's guest columnist Arjun Deiva recommended buying Parex Resources in the Number Cruncher column on Jan. 29. The shares could then be had for $14.07. The Globe reported on March 7 that Mr. Pardy reiterated his "sector perform" call, when the shares could be had for $12.63.
