The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, April 5, edition that ATB Capital Markets analyst Nate Heywood raised his share target for Pembina Pipeline by a loonie to $56 following the late Thursday announcement of the achievement of "significant" milestones for its Cedar LNG joint venture project with the Haisla Nation. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $53.27. Mr. Heywood says in a note: "Overall, the announcement provides material confidence in the project's viability and we are constructive on the growth outlook given the company's ability to deploy capital and successfully develop projects that preserve economics." The Globe reported on June 23, 2023, that Mr. Heywood was sticking with his "outperform" call for Pembina Pipeline when it was then going for $39.76. The Globe reported on Nov. 21, Jan. 5 and March 7 that Citi analyst Spiro Dounis had reaffirmed his "neutral" recommendation for Pembina Pipeline when it could be had for $44.72, $45.95 and $47.50.
