The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday edition that Scotia Capital analyst Ben Isaacson continues to rate Parkland "sector outperform." The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. Isaacson saw his share target soar $10 to $60. Analysts on average target the shares at $54.25. Mr. Isaacson says in a note: "We believe investors can reasonably expect a 20-per-cent to 25-per-cent annual total return from Parkland in each of the next three to four years. The math is fairly straightforward. If Parkland can achieve $8.50/sh in '28 FCF, then a forward-looking stock market should price this in sometime in '27, or about 3.5 years from now. Based on Parkland's five-year FCF yield of 10 per cent, this would imply an $85 stock in '27. On top of that, a growing dividend will likely pay a total of $6/sh through '27. So, $90 inflow vs. a $45 outflow today equals a 25-per-cent annual return over three years or a 20-per-cent annual return over four." The Globe reported on Nov. 3 that Mr. Isaacson was sticking with his "sector outperform" recommendation for Parkland. The shares could then be had for $42.16. The Globe reported on Feb. 6 that RBC had downgraded Parkland to "sector perform" from "outperform." It was then worth $45.77.
