The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Nov. 3, edition that Scotia Capital analyst Ben Isaacson is sticking with his "sector outperform" recommendation for Parkland. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Isaacson gave his share target a $5 boost to $50. Analysts on average target the shares at $48.36. Mr. Isaacson says in a note: "We exit Q3 with a more positive view of Parkland, and recommend investors buy the stock ahead of its Nov. 14 Investor Day. Parkland remains focused on integration/synergy capture, improving leverage, as well as portfolio optimization, and has made meaningful gains on these. ... This includes the acceleration of its $2-billion EBITDA ambition to '24, which should result in $5/sh of FCF. Of course, $5 is not the goal, it's now the base from which Parkland will grow. Investors are keen to hear how Parkland will fund this next stage of growth, without putting the B/S at risk, while at the same time growing the divvy. As a base, investors can expect Parkland to grow EBITDA organically by 3 per cent to 5 per cent annually, with disciplined M&A on top of that. ... Parkland is perhaps one of the most defensive names in our universe."
