The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Sept. 30, edition that Acumen Capital analyst Jim Byrne raised his Pollard Banknote share target to $34 from $32 with an unchanged "buy" ranking following an announcement of a new agreement with California Lottery and an iLottery and gaming contract in Belgium. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $33.50. Mr. Byrne says in a note, "We know the company continues to compete in new jurisdictions in the U.S. and Europe and look forward to potential catalysts around contract wins." The Globe reported on Aug. 8, 2024, that Mr. Byrne continued to rate Pollard "buy." It was then worth $19.61. The Globe reported on Feb. 18, 2025, that Lester Asset Management's Stephen Takacsy said Pollard was trading at a large discount to U.S. peers. The shares could then be had for $26.29. The Globe reported on March 13, 2025, that Canaccord Genuity analyst Robert Young continued to rate Pollard "buy." The shares could then be had for $20.25.
