The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Bryce Adams began coverage on OceanaGold with a "buy" recommendation and a Street-high share target of $50. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $39.19. Mr. Adams says in a note: "OceanaGold offers a strong investment case as a disciplined, growth-oriented mid-cap gold producer. We note that the company delivered strong 3Q25 results including record revenue of $449-million (U.S.) and FCF of $94-million (U.S.), supported by no debt and a healthy $335-million (U.S.) cash balance which funds its near-term growth objectives. With four gold assets in the U.S., the Philippines and New Zealand, OceanaGold provides a diversified operating base with unhedged gold price exposure. We view the planned NYSE listing (expected in April, 2026) as a positive development to increase liquidity, available buyers and, potentially, valuation. We expect investments (stripping) at Haile and Macraes to support 4Q25 and 2026 results as fresh, higher-grade ore is processed. ... There are ongoing exploration programs that we expect can all support share price appreciation in the medium term."
