The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Aug. 18, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Mohamed Sidibe has reiterated his "outperform" recommendation for NexGen Energy. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Sidibe bumped his share target ahead by a loonie to $21. Analysts on average target the shares at $22.25. Mr. Sidibe says in a note: "The quarter marked Rook I's transition from permitting to execution, with licenced construction beginning June 8 following site mobilization and early works. Management stated that planned milestones remain on scope, budget and schedule. We model first production in 2031." The Globe reported on Dec. 19 and Feb. 6 that Mr. Sidibe continued to rate NexGen Energy "outperform." The shares could then be had for $12.59 and $15.04. The Globe reported on July 13 that the nuclear industry was seeing what some called a "renaissance." NexGen shares were then going for $13.70.
