The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Nov. 29, edition that RBC Capital Markets analyst Andrew Wong has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for NexGen Energy. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Wong boosted his share target by a loonie to $11. Analysts on average target the shares at $10.85. Mr. Wong says in a note: "We continue to view NexGen's Rook I project as one of the best undeveloped uranium projects globally that will be important in meeting growing uranium demand as the market moves into a potential significant deficit by 2030. We are encouraged to see management advancing Rook I through permitting and believe the project is well-financed through pre-construction works." The Globe reported on Sept. 29 that Raymond James analyst Brian MacArthur had hiked his uranium price forecast for 2023 and 2024. In the item he rated NexGen "outperform." NexGen shares could then be had for $8.13.
