The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Feb. 26, edition that Scotia Capital analyst Ben Isaacson is sticking with his "sector outperform" recommendation for Nutrien. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Isaacson jacked his share target up by $2 to $62 (all figures U.S.). Analysts on average target the shares at $60.41. Mr. Isaacson says in a note: "We exit Q4 reporting a little more positive on Nutrien. We looked at five factors below: N, K, retail, capital allocation, and management credibility. While all five are currently working in Nutrien's favour, N sentiment will soon turn negative, and perhaps K sentiment to neutral. But for now, all lights remain green." The Globe reported on June 17, 2023, that Mr. Isaacson said Nutrien shares were rebounding. He said the bottom of the potash market had arrived. Nutrien shares could then be had for $60.60. The Globe reported on Feb. 21, 2025, that Raymond James analyst Steve Hansen had reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Nutrien. The shares were then going for $52.59.
