NORTHERN SHIELD ANNOUNCES WARRANT EXTENSION

Northern Shield Resources Inc. intends to extend the exercise period of a total of 3,012,308 common share purchase warrants, 2.75 million of which are exercisable at 10 cents per common share and 262,308 of which are exercisable at 12.5 cents per common share. The warrants were issued pursuant to two tranches of a private placement, which closed on March 21, 2023, and April 7, 2023. The company proposes to extend the expiry dates for these warrants by one additional year, and, accordingly, the new expiry dates for the warrants will be March 22, 2026, and April 8, 2026.

All other terms and conditions of the warrants remain unchanged. The warrant extension is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
