NORSEMONT ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

Art Freeze, due to personal reasons, has resigned from Norsemont Mining Inc.'s board of directors, effective immediately.

Marc Levy, chief executive officer of Norsemont, said: "We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for Art's hard work and dedication in advancing the Choquelimpie project over the years and wish him the very best in his future endeavours. We look forward to his continued involvement, as a technical adviser to the company on an as-needed basis."
