METALLIS ANNOUNCES $500,000 NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Metallis Resources Inc. has arranged a non-brokered placement of up to $500,000. The financing will consist of up to 7.7 million shares at a price of 6.5 cents per share.

Proceeds from the financing will be used for phase 1 exploration at the Greyhound property and for general corporate purposes.

Shares issued on closing will be subject to a trading hold period expiring four months and one day from the date of issuance. The closing of the private placement is subject to the receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals and final acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
