The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Nov. 9, edition that RBC Capital Markets analyst Greg Pardy has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for MEG Energy. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Pardy gave his share target a $2 boost to $33. Analysts on average target the shares at $30.46. Mr. Pardy says in a note, "Our bullish stance toward MEG Energy continues to reflect its capable leadership team, solid operating performance, balance sheet deleveraging via absolute debt reduction and rising shareholder returns." The Globe reported on Oct. 6, 2022, that Mr. Pardy had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for MEG Energy, which was then worth $19.04. The Globe reported on Sept. 12, 2023, that Mr. Pardy had reaffirmed his "sector perform" call. The shares could then be had for $25.47. The Globe reported on Oct. 11, 2023, that Mr. Pardy had boosted his recommendation for MEG Energy to "outperform" from "sector perform." The shares could then be had for $26.38.
