The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Dec. 5, edition that TD Cowen analyst Steven Green, ahead of the release of Major Drilling Group's second-quarter fiscal 2026 results on Dec. 10, gave his share target a $3 boost to $16. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Green is the lone analyst covering the stock. Mr. Green rates Major Drilling "buy." Mr. Green says in a note, "We have updated our estimates ahead of Major Drilling's FYQ2 results, reducing near-term EBITDA to reflect muted margin expectations, due to higher spending to support increased drilling activity, while raising our 2027E on a stronger outlook, as activity builds and junior financings accelerate." The Globe reported on Nov. 12 that Caldwell Investment Management portfolio manager Denis Taillefer started buying Major Drilling Group International in June and he bought more in October. The shares could then be had for $12.83.
