MAJOR DRILLING ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS

All director nominees listed in the management information circular dated July 13, 2023, were elected as directors of Major Drilling Group International Inc. in the course of the virtual annual general meeting of shareholders of the corporation held on Sept. 7, 2023. Shareholder participation was high, with the total percentage of shares voted reaching over 78 per cent (representing 64,498,897 common shares of the corporation).

Each of the nine director nominees listed in the circular was elected by the holders of common shares of the corporation (see an attached table).

The board's approach to executive compensation received 86-per-cent approval, and the appointment of Deloitte LLP as independent auditor of the corporation received 81-per-cent approval.
