The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Sept. 27, edition that Ventum Capital Markets analyst Alex Terentiew rates Montage Gold "buy" in new coverage. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Terentiew set a share target of $2.90. Analysts on average target the shares at $2.59. Mr. Terentiew calls Montage Gold "a rapidly advancing gold developer preparing to commence construction, with high-grade regional exploration upside that we expect to add value and enhance the company's market valuation over the coming months." He adds, "At the current 0.53 times P/NAV valuation and with financing and exploration catalysts pending, we view the current share price as an attractive entry point to gain ownership of one of Africa's most attractive gold companies." The Globe reported on July 24 that National Bank analyst Don DeMarco had initiated coverage of Montage Gold with an "outperform" recommendation and $2.50 share target. Montage Gold shares could then be had for $1.69. The Globe reported on Aug. 16 BMO Nesbitt Burns analyst Raj Ray commenced coverage with an "outperform" recommendation and a $2.50 share target. The shares could then be had for $1.95.
