The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Feb. 2, edition that CIBC World Markets analyst Krista Friesen has reiterated her "outperformer" recommendation for Linamar. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Ms. Friesen bumped her share target ahead by $3 to $93. Analysts on average target the shares at $81.80. Ms. Friesen says in a note: "We have updated our model to reflect the closing of the Bourgault Industries acquisition. We continue to view the acquisition positively, and in line with Linamar's strategy of building out a diversified manufacturing business. We expect more details on the acquisition and integration plan when Linamar reports earnings on March 6." The Globe reported on Oct. 20 that Ms. Friesen continued to rate Linamar "outperformer." The shares could then be had for $63.53. The Globe reported on Nov. 10 that Raymond James analyst Michael Glen had downgraded Linamar to "market perform" from "outperform." The shares could then be had for $59.93.
