LINAMAR COMPLETES $550,000,000 PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF SENIOR UNSECURED NOTES

Linamar Corp. has executed and closed a note purchase agreement, pursuant to which it sold $550-million aggregate principal amount of 5.96 per cent senior unsecured notes due June 30, 2033, to certain institutional accredited investors by way of a private placement. Linamar intends to use the proceeds of the sale of the notes for general corporate purposes, including to finance the previously announced purchase of Dura-Shiloh's battery enclosures business.
